The fact-oriented literature categories were called "History", "Biography or Autobiography" and "General Nonfiction", while the areas of Belles-Lettres are represented by award groupe like "Novel", "Fiction" and "Poetry". Thanks to the availability of the confidential Jury Reports it was possible to reconstruct the decision-making processes within the evaluating committees.
