Farmer Martin Thomas is murdered on his way home from a heated debate at the village hall, regarding the proposed wind farm development at Esgair-goch. Many of the villagers are jealous of Martin and feel the need to take revenge on him. The three detectives who solved Elenid's murder case in Y Llwybr have yet another crime to solve.
